Serving for 24 Years and counting Attorney Hoard began his legal career in 1999 as a prosecutor in the Illinois Attorney General's Office. It was during his time as an Assistant Attorney General arguing appeals that his passion for advocacy was ignited. Michael opened his own small firm in his hometown of Chicago and an office in Charlotte's SouthPark region; shifting his focus to helping individuals and businesses with bankruptcy law, real estate transactions and estate planning.Michael serves the community fiercely as a member of several nonprofit organizations, even sitting on the board for groups that advocate for fair and equitable housing. Attorney Lawrence Wooden
Partner
Lawrence D. Wooden practices in the areas of Employment Business Law, Estate Planning, and Civil Litigation. He is a native of New Orleans and attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, FL where he attained a Bachelors and MBA. He is committed to working closely with clients to educate and assist them in making informed decisions to help them reach their short term and long term goals.Lawrence is a 2013 graduate of Charlotte School of Law. While in school he volunteered with the Charlotte Immigration clinic and the Expungement Project. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina.Lawrence has over seven years of practical business experience working in different industry segments. Prior to opening the firm, he worked as a Finance Manager with a Property & Casualty Insurance Company, Fiscal Grant Manager with the City of New Orleans, and as a Commercial Banking Underwriter for a large Midwest Bank.Outside of practicing law, Lawrence enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, traveling and watching football and basketball.
